I can’t believe February is over already. It’s been another good month for the tipster portfolio with a total profit of 38.82 points.

Master Racing Tips was this months most profitable tipster, totaling 34.19 points for February. The service made small and steady profits throughout the month, and had one big winner with Ansabb on the 9th, with a 1 point each way bet at 12/1.

Value Racing Tips made a profit of 31.41 points this month. This has been the 17th profitable month the service has had since being added to this portfolio 21 months ago.

Reliable as ever, Quentin Franks service bagged a nice little profit of 10.99 points this month. This service has been part of my portfolio since June 2015, and in that time it’s only had two small losing months.

The only losing service this month was Flat Racing Master, with a loss of 37.77 points for February. I added Flat Racing Master to the portfolio in December last year, and it got off to a great start with a profit of 36.46. Unfortunately things haven’t gone so well for the service in the last couple of months. I think it’s still too early to consider dropping the service at the moment, but I’ll be keeping a close eye on it.

The service specializes in Flat Racing, and with the start of the turf season fast approaching, we’ll hopefully see an uptick in profits over the next few months. If not, I’ll have to drop the service from my portfolio.

Talking about dropping services too earlier, I’d like to welcome Racing Gold back to the portfolio. I dropped the service back in November 2016, as the service seemed to be having a bit of a dry spell during the second half of last year. It wasn’t really losing money… but it wasn’t making money either.

However, it seems I should have been a bit more patient as it has very much returned to its winning ways, showing an impressive profit of 63.51 points to BSP so far this year. And that’s even taking into account the 55 exchange commission deduction.

I’ll be adding Racing Gold back to the portfolio, and placing the win bets with BOG bookmakers, and the place bets on the Betfair Exchange.

Here’s the monthly breakdown:
